I really needed to read this. Thank you for writing this, here’s to both of us for recogising our patterns and wanting to self improve, that’s more than most people would do! We got this :)
Reading this post was like deep diving into my soul and connected what I felt and experienced in my childhood with how it shaped me as an adult. Thank you so much for putting your whole
Self out here as authentic and vulnerable as you did so those of us who haven’t met our whole selves yet, know there is hope.
This is so relatable - it's a constant battle and not just one with a magic wand fix. But reminders like these are comforting to know that we are not alone.
thank you for this Hannah, your post came at such a good timing :,) i feel a strange mixture of emotions reading this - it’s never easy to acknowledge and accept being an anxious attachment but reading your post felt so real and raw yet warm and healing in itself
This is one of the first post i read since downloading substack a while ago and a recent experience made me think of what you said about my feelings aren't the reality which helped me ground myself. Anyways, i just wanna thank you for posting this! 💗
Thank you for writing this, Hannah! I was surprised by how similar it is to my feeling and situation. And loooove the practical steps you shared- I really need to start practicing them!
I’ve read countless books , listened to countless podcasts but when I’m triggered, I can’t seem to soothe myself and get into a panic . There must be a mantra to stop spiralling ?
Your writing is something that connects to many people because it is so well said and all your pieces seem to untangle own thoughts of my own! I’m currently still finishing school and having wise words from people with such different life experiences I can connect to is why I love writing! I can’t wait to see what else you write and I will definitely continue being a supporter!
I feel so seem 😌

Thank you so much for sharing this to a few of us who have no access to therapy and are trying to figure this thing out on our own.
